Also you should check to be sure the brake switch works properly. There are two sets of contacts. Check them both. You can unplug the electrical connector and use an ohm meter.

Dec 26, 2007 · I will look forward to hearing what your dealer has to say about the Adaptive Cruise. I have been trying for two years to get Audi to fix the very spotty operation of the Adaptive Cruise system without avail. I am told it operates correctly, and the blocked sensor warning alerts are `a safety feature'.
Customer states: Audi drive select functions cannot be selected (Figure 1). Cruise control does not work (except for A6 and A7) and DTC P164700 (ECM incorrect coding) is stored in the engine control module (address word 0001 (ECM), etc.). Navigation is not activated (Figure 2 and Figure 3). Bluetooth is unavailable.
